Memorials

The Glendale Youth Orchestra is grateful to these supporting families who have chosen to establish memorials in memory of their loved ones who were great supporters of GYO. Establishing such a memorial greatly helps GYO and is a meaningful way of honoring a person whose memory is so dear. The GYO memorial fund currently represents donations in loving memory of:

Lloyd Klein, the father of former GYO music director, Christopher Fazzi, and a long time generous supporter of the orchestra.

Marge Parks, a founding member of the GYO board and a tireless worker and advocate for the orchestra.

Robert Sullivan, the grandfather of GYO's violinist Mara Kelly and an enthusiastic supporter of the orchestra for many years.

Susan Sullivan Kelly, mother of GYO violinist and current board member Mara Kelly and wife of current board member Tim Kelly. Sue served on the board for many years as chairman of the silent auction and many other fundraisers.

Melvin Keimach, the much loved and gentle father of GYO Conductor Brad Keimach and husband of Lois Keimach, Brad's mother. Mr. and Mrs. Keimach came to every GYO concert over the past 9 years and sat in the left-front section of the orchestra to proudly watch their son work his magic with the young musicians of the GYO.
